ABOUT US

Cataholics is a non-registered charity, set up to try to help disadvantaged cats and kittens in Newmarket and the surrounding area.  It is run by a small number of volunteers, who raise funds for food, shelter and veterinary fees for the cats that come into care.  All the money raised goes directly towards the care of the cats and the volunteers claim no expenses.

The cats, many of which are feral, are cared for by Christine in outdoor pens in Newmarket, where they are socialised before being found new, loving homes.  

We receive no formal funding and rely on fundraising events and donations from the public, as our only sources of income.  Raising funds is an extremely important part of our work and we always need more volunteers in the area to help us at events and/or hold events of their own, to help support our work.
